Evolve Back, Coorg

The newly renamed Evolve Back retains its Crown as the best place to stay in Coorg. Formerly known as Orange County Resort. The resort has 43 villas in various categories (all with private pools). It is situated in Chikkana Halli Estate, a 300-acre coffee and spice plantation. Heritage Pool Villas are built with stone and brick, with a typical sloping tiled roof shared by Koorg, in Kodava’s local style.

The resort has seven restaurants including a lunar lake dinner and private dining in a mechanical treetop – don’t skip the local specialty of curry with Nikki roti (spewed pork curry) (rice flatbread). Relish and rejuvenate at the vast spa in the Ayurveda Village where you will enjoy the best ayurvedic treatments, including herbal baths, oil massages, and beauty therapies.
